&lsquo;Hall Effect Thruster Motor Development Infrastructure Project&rsquo; (HALE) aims to develop the very first facility in Turkey where scientists could conduct their research on electrical thruster motor systems. The facility will be produced at th premises within TUBITAK SPACE, with the support of the Ministry of Development. The facility shall pave the way for creating thruster systems required by the Turkish industry in the short and long term and decrease Turkey&rsquo;s dependency on foreign resources in these areas.

Turkish Space Agency is vested with the duties of reducing the dependency of the country on foreign resources in aeronautics and space technologies, enhancing the competitiveness of the country in the international arena

Space Technologies This department is responsible for preparing/facilitating the plans, projects and other initiatives to enable the design, production and integration of all kinds of products, technologies, systems, facilities, tools and instruments on space and aeronautics including satellites, launching equipment and systems, aircrafts and simulators and space platforms. 
 Turkish Space Agency supports all the activities carried out on space, astronomy and aeronautics sciences on the national level.
 Projects which are carried out/are being carried out in Turkey but not under the responsibility of the Turkish Space Agency or other institutions.
