<p>Inter - Islamic Network on Space Sciences and Technology (ISNET) is an inter-state, non-political and non-profit agency. It is an independent, autonomous and self-governing institution under the umbrella of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH). Pakistan Space &amp; Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) is the host organization of ISNET.</p>

<p>ISNET&#39;s Mission is declared as &quot;Promote Space Sciences, Space Technology and their Applications for peaceful purposes in OIC member countries&rdquo;. ISNET was founded by OIC members Bangladesh, Iraq, Pakistan, Niger, Indonesia, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia and Turkey in 1987. Syria joined the organization in 1997, followed by Iran and Sudan in 2004, Azerbaijan and Senegal in 2009, Egypt in 2011 and Jordan in 2013. ISNET currently has 16 members.</p>
