Yusuf Kıraç graduated from Hacettepe University, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 1994. In 1996, Mr. Kıraç started his career at Siemens, where he worked as Planning and Integration Management Manager, before moving to Nokia Siemens Networks with the same title.
In 2008, Mr. Kıraç joined Türk Telekom and took part in the team that carried out successful transformation projects such as Rural Transformation, Türk Telekom NGN and Fiber Transformation projects, which enabled Türk Telekom's transition to All IP architecture.
In 2010, he assumed the position of Türk Telekom Network Director and led many projects such as Fiber Transformation, DWDM, MPLS, DC Transformation and TTVPN, which brought profitability and capacity to Türk Telekom.
Between 2010 and 2014, in addition to his current position, he served as the Chairman of the NANI Working Group of ETNO, the European Telecommunications Operators Organization headquartered in Brussels. After the merger of Türk Telekom, AVEA and TTNET, he was appointed as Core & Transport Network Director.
Yusuf Kıraç served as the General Manager of Türk Telekom International between December 2016 and August 2018. In recognition of his work there, the Company was awarded "Best Eastern Europe / CIS Wholesale Carrier", "Best Customer Experience" and "Best Subsea Innovation" as a member of the SEA-ME-WE 5 Consortium at The Global Carrier Awards 2017.
Since August 2018, as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Türk Telekom, he has managed Türk Telekom's activities in the areas of fiber and digital transformation, 5G and Next Generation Networks, Information Technologies, Data Center and Cyber Security.
He paved the way for projects that led Türk Telekom to obtain many global patents and thanks to these projects, he was awarded the Trailblazer CTO of the year award by Mobile Europe in 2023.
Kıraç also served as the Chairman of Türk Telekom Youth and Sports Club. During this period, Türk Telekom Sports Club finished the 2022 - 2023 Basketball Super League in 1st place and played the finals of Eurocap.
He was appointed as the President of the Turkish Space Agency by the decision numbered 2023/446, which entered into force after being published in the Official Gazette dated October 07, 2023 and numbered 32332. He is married and has two children.
