In this project  which shall be implemented under the coordination of Turkish Space Agency and in cooperation with İstanbul Technical University, General Directorate of State Airports Authority, and the General Directorate of Civil Aviation; Turkey’s cosmic radiation map will be drawn. With a view to measure the amount of cosmic radiation exposure to the flight teams and passengers travelling through air transportation; real-time special test flights will be arranged at different altitudes and different routes, thus measuring the proton (p), electron (e), neutron (n), alpha (α), beta (β), gamma (γ), UV and cosmic X – rays quantitatively and the data acquired will be used in the modelling of national cosmic radiation model as well as in the preparation of national cosmic radiation network – map to be used for space-related and aeronautical purposes.
